This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for family law to develop their skills within a supportive and professional environment.The RoleThe successful candidate will provide support to fee earners across a broad range of family law matters, which may include:
- Divorce and separation proceedings
- Financial remedy cases
- Private children law matters
- Cohabitation agreements and pre/post-nuptial agreements
- Domestic abuse injunctions
Key responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients, taking initial instructions, and providing updates
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Drafting court forms and applications
- Managing case files from opening to closure, ensuring deadlines are met
- Conducting legal research and collating evidence
- Liaising with counsel, experts, and other third parties
- Assisting in the preparation of court bundles and trial documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and updating the case management system
