Data Project Manager for a large public sector organisation.
Contract Duration: 12 months with possible 12 month extension.
Pay to Contractor: £500 per day (inside IR35).

- Demonstrated ability to develop data-specific project plans, covering data strategy, migration, modelling, testing, and handling internal and external datasets.

- Proven ability to manage and influence senior and external stakeholders in a delivery capacity.

Key Knowledge
- Substantial knowledge of planning, project, and risk management tools and techniques.
- Good knowledge of architectural data principles and the relationship between data sets and related data, application, and technology domains.
- Expertise in data modelling/structures, data governance, data strategies, data quality, and data migration.
- Familiarity with recognised project management methodologies (e.g., APM, Prince 2) and delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile Scrum).
- Good understanding of data tooling, data transformation/extraction, and loading techniques, tools, and frameworks.
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent (post-graduate qualifications in related fields desirable).
Key Experience
- Proven experience managing technology and data projects up to a value of £10M in large, complex, and regulated organisations.
- Management of multiple stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing complex data-centric projects and migration of large data repositories.
- Successful migration of large data repositories from externally owned locations into secure internal repositories.
- Experience in carrying out design authority duties or related assurance roles.
