Role: Locum Speech and Language Therapist – CrawleyLocation: Crawley, West Sussex RH10Start Date: September 2025Duration: September 2025 – January 2026 (Maternity Cover)Schedule: 2 days per week (flexible, excluding Fridays)Hours: 7.5 hours per day (flexible start and finish)Hourly Rate: £30-£35 (dependent on experience)We are urgently seeking a skilled Locum Speech and Language Therapist to provide maternity cover starting September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 6 or experienced Band 5 therapist to support young adults in a dynamic college environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a generalist caseload of students aged 16-25 with diverse needs, including autism and language disorders.
  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to enhance students’ communication and educational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with college staff to ensure tailored support for new and returning students.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration and relevant speech and language therapy qualifications.
  • Experience working with young adults, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Generalist skill set to address varied communication needs.
  • Band 6 or experienced Band 5 level competence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to meet student needs.
