The Role

Working as part of a cross‑office conveyancing team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team with administration and legal matters relating to the sale and purchase of residential property
  • Issuing sale contracts and dealing with enquiries, mortgage redemptions, and providing support across all aspects of residential sale and purchase transactions pre and post completion
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence to a high standard
  • Liaising effectively with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties throughout the conveyancing process
  • Maintaining accurate records and upholding a high standard of client care at all times
  • Ensuring compliance requirements are met throughout each transaction

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a confident and experienced conveyancing professional. This is a demanding role that will suit someone who is comfortable working at pace and can manage a busy caseload support function with accuracy and professionalism.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal (essential)
  • Experienced across most aspects of residential conveyancing, including sale and purchase transactions
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements within a conveyancing environment
  • Proficient in the use of case management systems
  • Familiar with the Land Registry portal, SDLT online submission system and lender portals
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with all parties
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
