Purpose of the Role

This role sits at the heart of the client journey, responsible for accurately processing and activating new client accounts on the firm's wealth platform. The successful candidate will ensure every account is set up correctly, efficiently, and in line with both internal policy and regulatory expectation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of new client account reviews from receipt through to activation
  • Acting as a go-to contact for investment colleagues with onboarding-related questions, via phone and email
  • Working closely with Front Office and Client Due Diligence teams to keep onboarding moving smoothly
  • Entering and maintaining client information within the firm's core system, with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Carrying out second-checks (4-eye reviews) on colleagues' data entry to catch and correct errors
  • Notifying relevant teams and stakeholders once accounts have been successfully opened
  • Running and reviewing exception reports to spot and fix data issues before they escape
  • Getting involved in wider data quality and process improvement projects
  • Digitising and filing account paperwork accurately and promptly
  • Flagging ideas for improving how the onboarding function runs day to day
  • Picking up other reasonable tasks as the role and business needs evolve
  • Keeping your training and compliance knowledge up to date
  • Continuously building your understanding of the wealth management sector
