Job Description:
This role involves conducting comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, including diagnostic assessments for autism and ADHD, primarily for NHS referrals. Responsibilities include writing detailed reports, providing recommendations, and possibly supervising junior staff. Some duties may be performed remotely, but office attendance is required.
Qualifications:
- HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Experience with neurodevelopmental assessments in children and young people
- Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and assessment tools for autism and ADHD
- Preferably trained in ADOS-2 and ADI-R
- Strong communication skills
