An established, forward-thinking financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team. The business specialises in delivering holistic, values-led advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, often working alongside external professional partners such as solicitors and accountants to deliver joined-up financial solutions. The Role
You will work closely with Financial Planners to research, analyse and produce high-quality, compliant financial planning recommendations. The position offers a broad technical remit, exposure to complex cases, and the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes. You will be responsible for producing detailed reports, building accurate cashflow models, and engaging directly with clients to gather and clarify information when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex client circumstances and produce clear, compliant financial planning recommendations.
- Conduct in-depth research across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning.
- Build and maintain cashflow models and suitability reports using modern planning technology.
- Maintain strong technical knowledge through ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with Financial Planners, Administrators and external professional contacts to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
Required Experience & Skills
- Diploma Level 4 in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a paraplanning role within a regulated advice environment.
- Strong analytical, organisational and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with a passion for technical financial planning.
