Senior Wealth Management Support Specialist

A well-established wealth management practice is looking to bring on board a senior-level professional who can combine deep technical paraplanning expertise with a genuine ability to lead and develop a team. What You'll Be Doing
Business Processing
- Analyse provider and product information to produce well-reasoned, compliant financial planning recommendations.
- Carry out yield calculations and produce financial analytics to underpin adviser recommendations.
- Prepare, review and sign off suitability reports to a consistently high standard, in line with quality benchmarks.
- Complete client file reviews thoroughly and efficiently.
Client Meeting Support
- Take ownership of pre-meeting preparation, including cashflow modelling, tailored recommendations, and all supporting documentation.
- Ensure advisers are fully briefed and equipped ahead of every client review.
Business & Pipeline Management
- Keep client revenue data accurate and up to date, flagging trends and opportunities to grow the business pipeline.
- Contribute to income forecasting and broader business planning activity.
Client Servicing & Administration
- Oversee review scheduling to ensure all clients receive timely annual reviews.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and outcomes within the firm's CRM platform.
- Produce and issue all post-meeting correspondence, including review letters and action follow-ups.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Take a proactive approach to identifying and managing risk across both client files and internal processes.
- Work closely with the compliance function to ensure advice quality and regulatory standards are consistently met.
Leadership & Team Development
- Take an active role in supervising, coaching and developing junior support staff.
- Set high standards for the team and support others in meeting them.
- Serve as a key point of contact between the advisory team and senior management.
- Play a supporting role in the operational development of advisers within the wider team.
What We're Looking For
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning β essential
- At least two years' experience in a paraplanning or financial planning support role
- Solid technical grounding across pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
- Hands-on experience with cashflow modelling tools such as Voyant or FE Analytics
- Comfortable working within a CRM environment and confident with MS Office
- Detail-oriented, analytically minded and capable of managing a varied workload under pressure
- A natural communicator who can build trust with advisers, clients and colleagues alike
- Someone who genuinely enjoys developing others and takes ownership of team standards
