We are working with a fast-growing SaaS company that is transforming how e-commerce brands boost revenue and customer engagement. Their platform delivers proven increases in conversion rates through smart on-site engagement tools including exit-intent overlays, web push notifications, personalised banners, and dynamic messaging, all designed to turn abandoning visitors into paying customers.
As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key part in the company's expansion across the UK and Europe. You will focus on mid-to-large online retailers and e-commerce brands, introducing them to a powerful suite of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) solutions that deliver measurable revenue uplift. This is a full-cycle sales position: you'll prospect, book meetings, run discovery calls, deliver tailored demos, negotiate contracts, and onboard new clients successfully.
What You Will Bring:
- At least 2 years proven experience in B2B sales or business development (ideally SaaS, martech, or e-commerce solutions)
- A genuine interest in digital / performance marketing and affiliate channels
- Demonstrable success in managing and closing a sales pipeline
- Confidence presenting and selling to senior decision-makers (e-commerce directors, heads of marketing, CEOs)
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to spot and convert opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a strong advantage)
- Data-driven mindset - comfortable reading reports and using insights to shape conversations
- Creative problem-solving and a proactive, results-focused attitude
- Ability to collaborate with customer success and technical teams while also thriving when working independently
Nice-to-Have (not essential):
- Previous experience selling to or working with advertising/agency partners
- Background in affiliate marketing or performance-based solutions
- Familiarity with martech/adtech ecosystems
- Fluency in a second European language
- Basic HTML knowledge
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth technology company and directly influence how leading online retailers maximise their website performance. If you're ambitious, commercially sharp, and excited by the world of e-commerce optimisation, we'd love to hear from you.
