The Role

We are recruiting a qualified Educational Psychologist for our client to work 1 day per week in Burnley. You will be assigned a dedicated patch of schools for the academic year (with potential for longer-term engagement), enabling you to build strong relationships with school staff and communities. Adopting a collaborative, planning-meeting approachdescribed as building a team around a schoolyou will deliver support at three levels:

  • Level 1: Casework and Intervention Providing 1:1 support to children and young people to meet their individual needs.
  • Level 2: Staff Support and Training Assessing and addressing training or supervision needs for school staff.
  • Level 3: Systemic and Whole-School Work Applying psychological expertise to enhance school-wide systems and processes, driving sustainable change.

You will have the freedom to tailor your approach to the needs of your schools, supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists in occupational therapy, speech and language, and communication and interaction. Our client encourages you to practice as the psychologist you want to be, with flexibility to align with your professional strengths.
