We are working on behalf of a well-established provider of adult social care, supporting people to lead active and fulfilling lives. They are looking for a Behaviour Analyst to join their team, working across services to deliver and embed positive behaviour support.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the implementation of the organisation's positive behaviour support framework across services
- Supervising and supporting Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioners
- Collaborating with the Regional Leadership Team to improve outcomes for the people supported and for colleagues
- Delivering Active Support and PBS training, and monitoring its outcomes and impact
- Providing high quality, best practice approaches to support the achievement of person-centred goals
- Working with services to reduce the use of restrictive practices
- Working collaboratively as part of a team, with strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behaviour Support
- BCBA or UKBA (Cert)
- Registration with UK-SBA (or willingness to register)
Experience
- At least one year's experience working in social care
- Skilled in developing Positive Behaviour Support plans and interventions to increase skills and reduce behaviours of concern
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams, balancing the differing views of stakeholders
