We’re proud to be working in partnership with a long-established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisors based in Cheltenham. Our client provides a comprehensive range of services to businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they’re now looking to appoint an experienced Personal Tax Manager or Assistant Tax Manager to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is a highly regarded accountancy and tax practice with a reputation for delivering high-quality, tailored advice. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly alongside the firm’s leadership team, supporting a varied client portfolio and contributing to a range of interesting tax planning and advisory projects. Key responsibilities:- Managing and reviewing personal tax work across a diverse client base
- Overseeing and developing team members, providing guidance and support
- Leading the tax return process and ensuring high-quality output
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting advisory work
- Working closely with the Director on technical and strategic projects
- Experienced in personal tax within a professional practice environment
- Qualified CTA, ATT, or qualified by experience
- Strong technical tax knowledge and up-to-date understanding of legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, proactive, and confident in managing deadlines
- Experience with expatriate tax is advantageous but not essential
- A collaborative team player keen to contribute to the firm’s ongoing success
- Competitive salary dependent on experience
