Lead Systematic Trading and Alpha Generation: Architect an ultra-innovative LLM-Powered Trading Desk in Tax-Free Dubai! RGG Capital seeks a highly accomplished Systematic Trader (Head of Desk / Senior PM Caliber) to architect, build, and lead a new, proprietary AI-driven trading function in Dubai. This is a unique mandate to spearhead quantitative strategies, backed by significant patient capital and the focused approach of a private investment office.

Reporting directly to the CEO, partnering closely with the CIO, and building/leading a quantitative team (starting with a Quantitative Analyst), you will be the key P&L owner for high-frequency, event-driven strategies across commodities and equities. Your critical edge will be leveraging and co-developing unique alpha signals from our proprietary Large Language Model (LLM). Key Strategic Objectives & Responsibilities:

• Alpha Generation & Portfolio Construction: Design, implement, and manage a portfolio of LLM-derived systematic strategies, with full P&L responsibility.
• Quantitative Research & Strategy Development: Lead the research agenda, continuously enhancing existing strategies and exploring new alpha sources in collaboration with the LLM team.
• Risk Management Framework: Architect and oversee a sophisticated risk management framework suitable for HFT and systematic portfolios.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead quantitative analyst and potentially other traders as the desk grows.
• LLM Enhancement & Feedback Loop: Provide expert trading insights to systematically improve the LLM's predictive accuracy and real-world trading efficacy.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven Systematic Trading Leader: Required: 5+ years of verifiable P&L generation as a Systematic Trader/Portfolio Manager in commodities and/or equities. Deep, hands-on expertise in the full lifecycle of algorithmic trading (HFT/low-latency strategy development, backtesting, live deployment, and optimization).
• Proven experience managing and scaling systematic trading portfolios of at least 10 M- 50 M+ AUM with sophisticated risk management.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for quantitative research, algorithm development, and high-performance backtesting.
• Expertise in statistical performance analysis, market microstructure, and real-time risk control for systematic strategies.
• Demonstrable experience collaborating with AI/ML research teams or directly applying advanced statistical/ML techniques in trading.

Preferred:

• Experience in building and leading a successful systematic trading desk or a new strategy suite from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of LLMs or other advanced AI techniques applied to financial markets.
• Master’s/PhD in a heavily quantitative field.
