Join RGG Capital as a Deputy Chief Investment Officer to co-architect sophisticated, multi-asset investment strategies, backed by significant patient capital and a focused approach. RGG Capital seeks an exceptional Deputy Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to join our team in Dubai. This is a unique mandate to drive multi-million-dollar portfolio growth across diverse asset classes.
Reporting directly to the CIO and working closely with the CEO, you will be a key partner in shaping high-impact capital allocation decisions, designing robust risk frameworks, and cultivating a culture of analytical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of sophisticated investment portfolio strategies across multiple asset classes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk frameworks.
- Spearhead research initiatives that enhance investment models.
- Partner with the CIO to formulate strategic investment approaches.
- Generate sophisticated risk analytics and performance insights.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of analytical excellence.
- Required:
- 10+ years of proven investment management experience with significant exposure to hedge fund operations and selection.
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) from a top-tier institution in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Exceptional quantitative capabilities with advanced Excel skills and strong programming proficiency in Python.
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-asset class portfolio management.
- Proven track record developing sophisticated risk management frameworks.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, including derivatives and complex financial instruments.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
- Preferred:
- Additional professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent.
- Experience with emerging markets and related investment strategies.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advanced programming skills in Java or C# to complement Python expertise.
