Certain Advantage is collaborating with a prominent aerospace company in search of an experienced Stress Engineer. In this role, you will serve as a Concessions Approval Stress Engineer, working in conjunction with the existing stress analysis team.

What you will be doing:

  1. Conducting static structural analyses for both composite and metallic materials.
  2. Analysing and validating metallic and composite/hybrid structures at the component level for static strength, fatigue and durability, and generating appropriate strength margins or reserve factors in accordance with validated methods and sizing processes.
  3. Providing stress analyses for the repair and acceptance of metallic and composite/hybrid structures.
  4. Ensuring compliance with airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.

During an interview, we may ask you about:

  1. Your design authority experience.
  2. Your knowledge of aircraft, military aircraft, and other relevant products.
