The HR Lead will play a pivotal role in enhancing HR efficiency and supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives. This position centres on ER, HR processes, design and change management. You will bring a strategic, proactive approach, leveraging strong organisational and analytical skills to design and implement impactful HR initiatives. The role requires close collaboration across the organisation, making it ideal for a commercially minded professional with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. This is a part-time position , working four days per week Key Responsibilities: HR Advice: Provide expert HR guidance aligned with best practices and employment law. Compliance: Ensure all HR policies comply with domestic and international employment regulations to minimise risk. Process Improvement: Develop and refine HR processes to enhance efficiency and foster a positive, inclusive work culture. Employee Relations: Impartially manage complex employee relations issues, including handling complaints, grievances, and investigations in partnership with external providers when needed. Data-Driven Insights: Monitor HR metrics and analytics to identify trends and recommend improvements. Change Management: Lead HR aspects of organisational change, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement. Managerial Support: Coach and support managers and employees, helping them navigate business-as-usual (BAU) challenges and adapt to change. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate change initiatives and recommend improvements to enhance their impact. Training & Development: Collaborate with L&D leads to deliver HR training and promote compliance and risk management best practices. Benefits & Rewards: Coordinate reviews of employee benefits and rewards, ensuring they are effectively communicated across the business. Team Leadership: Provide oversight for HR team members, stepping in to cover responsibilities when needed. Stakeholder Partnerships: Build strong relationships with managers to understand and support their HR needs effectively. Governance & Ethics: Challenge behaviours or initiatives that conflict with organisational or ethical standards, escalating concerns as necessary. Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to the Director of Operations & Finance, contributing to a commercially focused and pragmatic People strategy.
