NRT Group is seeking an experienced Security Working Supervisor to oversee the installation and delivery of commercial security systems across projects in London and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor who can lead teams on-site while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and actively work alongside security installation teams on commercial sites
- Oversee the installation of access control systems, door entry systems, intruder alarms, and associated cabling
- Ensure works are carried out in line with industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and site safety procedures
- Plan, monitor, and inspect containment and cabling routes to ensure efficient and high-quality installations
- Coordinate daily activities, labour, and materials to meet project programmes and deadlines
- Liaise with site management, main contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
- Carry out system testing, commissioning support, and handover documentation where required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in commercial security systems installations
- Proven knowledge of access control, door entry, intruder alarms, and structured cabling
- Experience supervising teams while remaining hands-on on-site
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and schematics
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Understanding of site health & safety requirements
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- ECS, CSCS, or equivalent industry card
- Manufacturer training (e.g. Paxton, HID, Gallagher, Honeywell, Texecom, etc.)
- Experience with system testing, commissioning, and client handovers
