We are recruiting an experienced Passive Fire Supervisor to lead site teams delivering fire stopping, fire door installation/remediation, and compartmentation works across live projects. This is a hands‑on supervisory role ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with FIRAS / BM TRADA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support teams of passive fire operatives
- Allocate daily tasks and manage productivity on-site
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with Approved Document B
- Deliver toolbox talks and enforce Health & Safety standards
- Maintain installation records, photographic evidence, and compliance documentation
- Liaise with clients and third‑party inspectors
Requirements
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Valid CSCS card
- 3+ years experience in fire stopping or fire door remediation
- Strong understanding of BM TRADA / ADB requirements
- Ability to read fire strategy drawings
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Passive Fire Protection or Carpentry desirable
