Job Title: Emergency Lighting (EML) Engineer

About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Emergency Lighting (EML) Engineer to join our growing team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and fault‑finding of emergency lighting systems across a range of commercial and residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair emergency lighting systems in line with current regulations and standards
- Carry out routine testing and inspections of emergency lighting systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Ensure all works are completed in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Complete accurate documentation and reports following inspections and maintenance visits
- Work independently and as part of a wider team
- Liaise with clients and site personnel in a professional manner
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 Electrical Installations (2365 or equivalent)
- Level 3 Electrical Installations (2365 or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with emergency lighting systems
- Experience in containment (tray, trunking, conduit, etc.)
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable / Preferred Qualifications
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Electrical Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent)
