About the Role

RGE Services is a growing engineering services company specialising in ventilation, HVAC, and air management systems across residential and commercial properties. We are looking for an experienced Ventilation Engineer / HVAC Engineer with strong knowledge of MVHR, PIV systems, and ventilation fans (including VIVID units). This is a field‑based role across London and surrounding areas, ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, fault‑finding, and working independently across a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and commission MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) systems
  • Install and maintain PIV (Positive Input Ventilation) systems
  • Work extensively with VIVID ventilation fans and similar units
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on ventilation systems
  • Install and service MEV systems and extraction units (bathroom, kitchen, whole‑house)
  • Carry out ductwork installation, upgrades, and modifications
  • Perform airflow testing and system balancing
  • Complete basic electrical work (wiring, fault‑finding, safe isolation)
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and Health & Safety standards
  • Complete job reports and documentation accurately

Requirements

  • Experience as a Ventilation Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong experience with MVHR and PIV systems
  • Experience working with ventilation fans (e.g. VIVID, inline, centrifugal)
  • Electrical knowledge or relevant experience (essential)
  • Understanding of airflow, ducting, and system balancing
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in HVAC, Ventilation, or similar (preferred)
  • 18th Edition (desirable)
  • PASMA / IPAF (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
