About the Role

We are seekingan experienced Site Manager to join our Electrical & Fire Systemsteam, overseeing projects acrossthe Bristol area.

The successful candidatewill be responsiblefor managing siteoperations, ensuring projectsare delivered safely, ontime, within budget, andto the highestquality standards.

Working closely withproject managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients, you will playa key rolein coordinatingthe installation ofelectrical and fireprotection systems whilemaintainingcompliance with healthand safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operationsfor electrical andfire system installationprojects.
  • Coordinate and supervisesite teams, subcontractors, and specialist contractors.
  • Ensure all worksare completed inaccordance with projectspecifications, programme, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progressand provide regularupdates to the Project Manager.
  • Conductsite inspections andmaintain high standardsof health, safety, and housekeeping.
  • Carry out siteinductions, toolbox talks, and safetybriefings.
  • Ensure compliance withcompany procedures andstatutory regulations.
  • Liaise effectively withclients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Manage site documentation, including RAMS, permitsto work, anddaily site records.
  • Identifyand resolvesite issues tominimise delays andmaintain programme delivery.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience asa Site Manager within theelectrical contractingor fire protectionindustry.
  • Good understanding ofelectrical and firesystems installation.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
  • First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Officeand theabilityto manage digitalsite documentation.
  • Excellent communicationand organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Requirements

  • Electrical orrelated construction tradebackground.
  • Experience managing multiplesubcontractors on commercialprojects.
  • Knowledge of currenthealth and safetylegislation and industrybest practice.
  • ECS or CSCSCard.
