Overview
We are looking for an experienced FRA Carpenter for a series of contracts across London and the South-East. RGE is a rapidly growing fire and electrical compliance business with a fantastic reputation with our clients and a strong track record in investing in our staff to help them further their careers.
Responsibilities
- Competently install new doorsets, and remediate existing doorsets (communal riser doors, cross corridor, and flat entrance doors).
- Confidently build electrical meter cupboards.
- Ensure all works are carried out to a standard that satisfies the company, our customers, and accreditations (FIRAS and BM Trada).
- Accurately complete job reports and provide records of all works.
- Provide excellent and friendly customer service to our customers.
- Communicate well with your manager and our administration staff.
Qualifications
- UK Driving License (required).
- NVQ level 2 in Carpentry/Carpentry & Joinery/Site Carpentry (preferred but not required).
- FIRAS-assessed (preferred but not required).
- At least 2 years\β proven experience in FRA Carpentry, preferably with 1 year\βs experience within the public sector.
- Availability to work Monday β Friday 08:00β17:00 with 1-hour lunch break.
