About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Emergency Lighting (EML) Engineer to join our growing team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and fault-finding of emergency lighting systems across a range of commercial and residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair emergency lighting systems in line with current regulations and standards
- Carry out routine testing and inspections of emergency lighting systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Ensure all works are completed in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Complete accurate documentation and reports following inspections and maintenance visits
- Work independently and as part of a wider team
- Liaise with clients and site personnel in a professional manner
Essential Requirements
- Level 2 Electrical Installations (2365 or equivalent)
- Level 3 Electrical Installations (2365 or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with emergency lighting systems
- Experience in containment (tray, trunking, conduit, etc.)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable / Preferred Qualifications
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Electrical Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent)
