We are currently seeking experienced Fire Stoppers to join our team on a self-employed subcontractor basis across Bristol and the surrounding areas. We have ongoing projects and are looking for reliable operatives with experience in passive fire protection works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of fire stopping systems to required specifications.
- Batt and mastic installations.
- Fire sealing of service penetrations.
- Fire collars, wraps, and ablative coating applications.
- Ensuring all works comply with current fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Completing works to a high standard while maintaining site safety and cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in passive fire protection and fire stopping.
- CIS registered with a valid UTR number.
- NVQ in Passive Fire Protection (preferred but not essential).
- FIRAS, BM TRADA, or equivalent accreditation experience advantageous.
- Own tools, PPE, and transport.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
What We Offer:
£200 - £250 per day (D.O.E). Additional earnings: Price work also available.
