We are delighted to be working with one of the most respected engineering consultancies in the Westcountry, searching for a Structural Engineer who is working toward chartership to join a talented and highly experienced design team. With over 30 years of history, this practice has gone from strength to strength and enjoys a substantial share of the local market. This business has contemporary and well-located offices in an easily accessible area of South Devon.

Projects are typically complex and challenging, so we are ideally looking for someone who enjoys problem solving and a variety of work. Responsibilities:

  • Running your own projects and aiding in successful project delivery
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and architects
  • Managing your own workload and following the process from inception to completion
  • Undertaking site visits, structural surveys and writing reports
  • Producing design calculations
  • Completing key objectives on your route to chartership
