A thriving, locally based main contractor with a solid pipeline of new build and refurbishment works is seeking to expand their team to cover forthcoming projects that are about to commence. To take over the running of a heritage refurbishment scheme, they are in need of a Site Manager with previous knowledge of listed building/heritage renovations.
In addition to having a relevant project history, the usual SMSTS, CSCS & First aid at work will be required together with good communication, excellent H & S awareness and a willingness to lead from the front and be hands on where required. You'd be managing the scheme to successful completion, liaising with the client and the public, managing works packages and driving the programme.
Ensuring the site is H & S compliant, you'll be managing and documenting the progress and ultimate delivery on an online construction portal so you'll need to be IT literate and familiar with this process.
The scheme is due for completion next Spring so there's a good run of work available with potential for further works subject to their project pipeline.
