Key Responsibilities:- Lead the successful delivery of construction projects from start to finish.
- Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and programme requirements are met.
- Work closely with the project team to support effective project delivery.
- Ensure works are progressing on track — on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
- Liaise with and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Prepare and review site reports, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Manage the supply chain, direct employees, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to on-site teams.
- Proven experience in a similar Site Manager role with a main contractor.
- Experience managing multi-million-pound projects across sectors such as Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, or Defence.
- HNC or higher qualification in Construction or a related field.
- Demonstrated financial awareness and commercial understanding.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and site procedures.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and travel across Devon as needed.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid at Work certification, and full UK driving licence.
