A permanent position has arisen for a Senior Engineer in Devon with RGB, supporting a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor on a long-term, high-profile scheme in Plymouth.
The salary is £42,000 to £45,000 per annum plus car and additional benefits.
The successful candidate will lead and mentor site engineers, oversee RAMS, ITPs, temporary works briefs, progress reporting and QA documentation. Duties also include managing dimensional control, setting out and survey activities, ensuring quality standards and accurate as-builts, and supporting supply chain coordination and performance. Contribution to planning, procurement, materials forecasting and site documentation is expected, alongside driving safe systems of work across defence, maritime, energy and major infrastructure works.

What you'll be doing
- Lead and mentor site engineers
- Oversee RAMS, ITPs, temporary works briefs, progress reporting and QA documentation

- Ensure quality standards, compliance and accurate as-builts
- Support supply chain coordination and performance
- Contribute to planning, procurement, materials forecasting and site documentation
- Drive safe systems of work and support the site management team
What we’re looking for
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- 3-5 years experience in civils, infrastructure or marine works
- Strong understanding of quality management and construction methodology
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite
- Confident communicator able to challenge designs and solve problems
- Full UK Driving Licence
