We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to take responsibility for coordinating the operation and maintenance of facilities and fleet across a local business based in the Torbay area. You’ll coordinate maintenance activities, support compliance with legal and health & safety requirements, and work closely with operational teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure health & safety and legal compliance across facilities, plant yard, and commercial fleet are met
- Coordinate scheduled inspections, statutory checks, repairs and maintenance within the business
- Liaise with contractors and manage service and utility contracts
- Support operational teams and project groups by providing facilities coordination
- Produce and manage budget reports & support the project teams
- Organising company fleet compliance, ensuring vehicles are safe, insured and maintained
- Administration support, keeping documents up to date
- Ideally similar operational, facilities experience
- Worked within a coordinating/Administration role previously
- Ability to manage contractors, negotiate contracts, and resolve issues quickly.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
