Job Description
- Working to offer Holistic and Positive options for people who are homeless or potentially facing becoming homelessness.
- Working alongside people who have moderate – high support needs.
- Liaising with other agencies in regard to specific needs including Benefits, Mental Health, Substance Misuse, Housing/Estate Agents and Education & Training.
- Looking after 5-8 customers offering a quality service to support people with complex needs.
- Writing, reviewing and updating support plans and risk assessments, using a motivated and positive approach.
The Candidate:
- Experience in a support worker position, supporting people with various needs and backgrounds.
- Having the ability to apply common sense to situations, whilst being accountable for decisions made and reasons behind them.
- Being able to establish and maintain relationships within internal and external partnerships, and with multiple clients and colleagues.
- Maintaining records and putting action plans in place
- Ideally holds a NVQ LVL 3 in relevant field.
- Knowledge of Housing Support and experience working with vulnerable individuals, being able to read and assess difficult situations and provide solutions
