An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Driver to join a busy utilities and infrastructure team on a 6-month temporary contract, with the potential opportunity to become permanent.
The successful candidate will support excavation and operational activities by transporting materials, equipment and sign lighting and guarding (SLG) for water mains repairs, new connections and other essential infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities- Transport materials, equipment and SLG to operational sites
- Support excavation and utilities teams
- Ensure Streetworks compliance in line with NRSWA 1991
- Complete job records using tablet-based systems
- Maintain site safety and traffic management standards
- Work closely with supervisors and operational teams to meet deadlines
- Previous experience in highways, utilities or reinstatement
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- CSCS Card
- EUSR Water Hygiene
- NRSWA Certification (Training could be offered to the right applicant)
