A well-established Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team on a contract basis on a project in Ipswich. The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects safely, on programme and within budget
- Leading Site Agents, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors
- Developing and maintaining project programmes
- Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings
- Overseeing quality assurance, ITPs and project documentation
- Monitoring project performance, risks and opportunities
- Working closely with commercial teams to ensure effective cost control
- Coordinating design, temporary works and construction activities
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
Requirements
Previous experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering is essential.
