We are recruiting for a Technical Coordinator to join a major project team supporting delivery on the Hinkley Point project. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing project while working in their offices in Bridgwater.
Working within a collaborative team of 6, this role will support the design function and play a key part in coordinating technical information and ensuring design activities remain organised and on track.
Key responsibilities:- Supporting and coordinating the design process across the project lifecycle
- Uploading, managing and controlling technical and project documentation
- Managing document workflows and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with subcontractors
- Supporting MEP Package Management activities
- Ensuring information is updated and liaising with subcontractors
- Supporting delivery milestones and project timescales
- General Administration support
- Previous experience within construction, engineering or contractor environments
- Ideally exposure to Tier 1 contractor projects
- Experience supporting technical, design, document control or coordination processes
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Hybrid working
