Do you have a passion for supporting older people to live independently? We're looking for a compassionate and proactive Scheme Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of an Extra Care scheme, helping residents feel safe, supported, and part of a thriving community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operation of the Extra Care scheme
- Support residents with tenancy plans and new resident inductions
- Carry out health & safety, fire safety and risk management checks
- Report repairs and ensure the scheme remains safe and well maintained
- Work closely with care providers and external agencies
- Organise activities and encourage social inclusion within the scheme
- Support resident allocations and maintain accurate records
- Promote safeguarding and maintain professional boundaries at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Experience supporting older people or vulnerable adults
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with partner agencies and advocating for customers
- Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and independent living
- Knowledge of housing management or welfare benefits (desirable)
- CIH qualification (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous
