Location: Plymouth

Pay Rate: £15.34 per hour

Contract: Temporary - 3 Months

Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday-Friday with some weekend work

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a Complex Needs Service supporting Adults and Families in Plymouth. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping vulnerable individuals promote independence, wellbeing, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individuals with tenancy management and daily living skills
  • Encouraging budgeting, wellbeing, and social inclusion
  • Delivering person-centred support plans
  • Promoting independence and positive outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records and risk assessments
  • Working alongside partner agencies and support services

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable people or individuals with complex needs
  • Ability to build professional relationships and maintain boundaries
  • Confident lone worker and team player
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity
  • Flexible approach to working hours

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or related field
  • Previous housing support experience
  • Knowledge of benefits, employment, or support pathways
