Procurement Administrator Permanent | Full-time 40 hours a week or Part-Time (30 hours)
Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
Are you highly organised with strong administration skills and an interest in procurement, buying, or commercial support? This is a varied and busy role supporting the Buying and Commercial teams to ensure procurement processes run efficiently and projects remain well organised. This position would suit someone with previous administration experience who enjoys working across multiple tasks, building supplier relationships, and supporting a fast-paced team environment.
The Role
- Supporting the Buying and Commercial teams with general administration
- Maintaining procurement trackers, supplier records and contact databases
- Issuing material enquiries and obtaining supplier quotations
- Keeping supplier agreements and documentation up to date
- Processing purchase orders and standard procurement information
- Managing orders for PPE, workwear and company clothing
- Assisting Buyers with additional administration tasks as required
- Providing reception cover and handling incoming telephone calls when required
About You
- Previous administration experience (procurement, buying, construction or commercial environments desirable but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers and internal teams
- Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)
