PART-TIME SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED – CORNWALL
Location: Cornwall
Pay Rate: £15.34 per hour
Hours: 22.2 hours per week
Contract: Immediate start – End of August 2026
Working Pattern: 3 days per week on a rolling rota (Monday–Sunday, 8am–9pm)
We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join a supported housing service working with individuals experiencing mental ill health, challenging behaviour, and alcohol/substance misuse issues. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable people and helping them work towards greater independence and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting customers with day-to-day needs and wellbeing
- Developing and following support plans
- Risk assessing and managing challenging situations safely
- Maintaining accurate records and case notes
- Building positive and professional relationships with customers
- Working independently and as part of a wider support team
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting vulnerable individuals or complex needs clients
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence with lone working and decision making
- Good IT and record-keeping abilities
- A calm, resilient, and adaptable approach
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism
