Managing Director – HVAC & Air Conditioning Systems Location: Surrey Area Annual Turnover: £1.5m–£2.5m Project Values: £5k–£800k A well-established HVAC and air conditioning solutions business in the Surrey area is seeking an experienced and ambitious Managing Director to take the reins. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects to a diverse client base, including commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. Role Overview The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and financial performance of the business. Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy, with experience overseeing company P&L and project budgets. In-depth design knowledge of HVAC systems, including the ability to interpret and produce AutoCAD drawings. Knowledge of the industry landscape, including technologies, market trends, and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and team management skills, able to inspire and motivate a small but highly skilled team. Experience in client relationship management and business development, with a network within the sector being advantageous. Entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to take ownership of the business and lead it to its next phase of growth.
