We are working with a growing, independent civil engineering consultancy delivering practical and innovative infrastructure solutions across mainly residential, but also commercial, and mixed-use developments. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Highway Technician / Engineer to join our team and take a leading role in the delivery of highway and transportation infrastructure projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated highway professional who enjoys technical leadership, project delivery, and client engagement. You will lead the design and coordination of highway infrastructure schemes, undertake technical reviews, and provide guidance to colleagues across a diverse portfolio of development projects. Working closely with developers, local authorities, architects, planners, and multidisciplinary design teams, you will help deliver highway solutions from concept and planning stages through to detailed design and construction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and delivery of highway infrastructure projects associated with residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
- Prepare and oversee Section 278 (S278) Highway Design packages in accordance with local authority and national standards.
- Undertake and coordinate highway design and technical reviews.
