JOB TITLE:       Grounds Maintenance Operatives x 2  – Slough\\n\\nLOCATION:    Slough covering Windsor, Ascot, Bracknell and surrounding areas\\n\\nSALARY:           £26,208  + van + benefits\\n\\nDURATION:     12 week Temporary to go to Perm\\n\\n(phone number removed)\\n\\n The Employer:\\n We are looking to fill the role of a Grounds Maintenance Operative within a housing environment, Our client is one of the largest Social |Housing providers in the South of England, they are ambitious and have a huge 5 year plan which we are seeking a GMO to assist with, their main aim is to create a sustainable future for social housing, building new homes and investing in existing ones creating vibrant, thriving communities.\\n\\nThe Role:\\n\\nResponsible for the delivery of the Grounds Maintenance service to the communal areas of our clients managed estates\\nResponsible for the upkeep of the external communal areas, grass, shrubs and hedges AND  soft landscaping/minor tree work\\nUsing a PDA Reporting system to record site visits and record tasks carried out\\nTo include grass cutting, hedge cutting, pruning, weed control, litter picking, and other works\\nEnsuring that equipment is regularly washed, kept clean and in good condition and report any defects to the supervisor.\\nEnsuring that all vehicles are kept clean with regular checks to oil and coolant levels reporting any defects to the fleet manager.\\nAssisting all other trades as and when required ensuring that residents/customers receive a high-quality service\\n\\nThe Candidate needs:\\n\\nExperience in a similar role or trade background, preferably with experience of Grounds Maintenance.\\nKnowledge and skills in the use of both mechanical & hand tools used in grounds maintenance operations\\nAn understanding of customer needs and ability to think quickly when needed\\nTo behave in a courteous and professional manner\\nTo be able to prioritise conflicting demands\\nGreat communication skills\\nCurrent holder of National Proficiency Test certificate for the safe control & use of pesticide or Pa1, Pa6a – Desirable, but not essential\\nNPTC certification or equivalent (Desirable, but not essential)\\nA clean Driving Licence (with towing ability – Desirable)\\n\\nSUMMARY:\\n \\n This is a Temp to Perm, full time role, working a 40 hour week over 5 days.\\n\\n You will be provided with and be responsible for a Company Van, PPE, a fuel card, tablet and mobile\\n\\nThe role requires a satisfactory Basic DBS check.\\n \\n INTERVIEW:\\n \\n The client is keen to fill this role quickly so if it is of interest, don’t delay in sending your CV over to us so we can put your name forward for interview stage.\\n \\n Call Carol at RGB Recruitment
