Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week (Full Time). Part-time and Job Share options available.

About the Role

We are looking for a practical, customer-focused Estate Officer to support the maintenance and upkeep of supported housing properties across Bristol. This is a varied, hands-on role where you will help maintain properties and communal areas, ensuring they remain safe, clean, secure, and welcoming for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out minor maintenance and repair work.
  • Clean and prepare vacant properties for new residents.
  • Undertake basic decorating and gardening duties.
  • Ensure communal areas and vacant properties remain secure.
  • Report major repair issues and liaise with contractors when required.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.

About You

You will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Cleaning
  • Gardening
  • Decorating
  • Minor maintenance or repairs

You will also have:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and use your initiative.
  • A positive attitude and pride in delivering high standards.
  • Awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
