JOB TITLE: Energy Efficiency Lead LOCATION: St Austell, Cornwall SALARY: £39,240 per annum RGB are delighted to be supporting one of the leading affordable housing providers within Cornwall in finding the very best professionals to fill their current requirements. As an organisation they are committed to making a real contribution to Cornwall’s housing shortage but building new and affordable homes for local people We are recruiting 1 individual for the position of Energy Efficiency Lead within a housing environment. The client is a non – profit, charitable registered provider of social and affordable housing throughout Cornwall. This client, as an employer, offers plenty of benefits and schemes to enable staff to create a work environment that allows them to provide quality, affordable homes and services for the people of Cornwall. The role: v Leading on the delivery and coordination of the energy investment programme for the future of the property portfolio of the Social Housing provider. v Delivering programmes of works; reporting on any energy improvements; and managing the energy efficiency team v Contractor management and procurement to ensure works are carried out according to the specified timeline v Ensuring EPC ratings are upgraded by certain deadlines, and that these are accurate and compliant v Undertaking inspections and Retrofit Assessments on the affordable properties to determine work requirements, and ensuring that these are compliant with company standards v To act as the Retrofit Coordinator to upgrade the affordable properties The candidate: v Experience and qualifications in Retro fit and Domestic Energy Assessments v Experience and qualifications in Building Surveying, Retrofit or equivalent v A full driving licence v Experience in advising on energy efficiency v Excellent IT abilities INTERVIEW: The client is keen to fill this role quickly so if it is of interest, don’t delay in sending your CV over to us so we can put your name forward for interview stage.
