We are delighted to be working with a well established regional M & E contracting company who have exciting plans for growth across the South West. Due to an increase in workload and succession planning, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Electrical biased Project/Contracts Manager to join their Devon based team.
The Role
Working for a range of clients and contractors, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of projects which include new build and refurbishments, across a variety of sectors including commercial, education, retail and health. Duties will include:
- Working with clients and project teams to understand and develop the project brief
- Liaise with the supply chain to produce quotations and procure labour and materials
- Manage the quality, H & S and successful delivery to time
- Create and monitor CDM plans
- Oversee the management and development of staff
- Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure budget is met
- Lead the post project phase
The Person
This varied role requires a proactive individual, capable of running a number of projects concurrently and is looking for an opportunity to progress their career. The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in an Electrical Project Management role
- Trained to the latest electrical 18th edition and 2391
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
- Proven track record in delivering projects up to 1.5m in value
- Ability to problem solve, collaborate and prioritise workload
- Fully IT literate
