RGB Recruitment are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our client’s delivery team, supporting a new, multi-million pound hospital project in Dorset. This role offers the chance to lead essential electrical building services on a flagship healthcare development for a leading Tier 1 contractor.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the electrical elements of the project, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely delivery. Reporting to senior management, you’ll coordinate on-site teams and subcontractors, manage programme and cost control, and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical installation works on a live healthcare project
- Ensure compliance with HTMs, HBNs, statutory regulations, and project quality standards
- Oversee planning, sequencing, health & safety, and risk management
- Manage procurement, subcontractor performance, valuations, and reporting
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet strict programme milestones
- Support commissioning, testing, and smooth project handover
About You
- Proven Electrical Project Manager experience in construction (healthcare or other regulated sectors advantageous)
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services and resilient power systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Commercially aware with experience managing costs, variations, and reporting
- Ability to review RAMS, specifications, and technical documentation
- CSCS & SMSTS essential; HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services desirable
