Weston-super-Mare or Exeter Based (covering Bristol, Somerset and occasionally Devon)

£20.75 per hour

37 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Are you passionate about supporting communities and resolving complex neighbourhood issues? We're looking for an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour and Enforcement Officer to join a busy Neighbourhoods team on a temporary basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in creating safer, stronger communities by managing anti-social behaviour cases, supporting residents, and working closely with partner agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage anti-social behaviour, harassment, hate crime and related enforcement cases
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers experiencing neighbourhood issues
  • Build effective relationships with police, local authorities and community partners
  • Gather evidence, prepare legal documentation and attend court proceedings where required
  • Provide advice and support to customers and colleagues on enforcement matters
  • Promote positive neighbour relationships and sustainable tenancies
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience within social housing or a related field, ideally dealing with anti-social behaviour cases
  • Experience managing challenging situations and conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and housing management practices
  • Understanding of anti-social behaviour, harassment, domestic abuse and hate incident legislation
  • Experience of court procedures and legal casework
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
