We’re looking for a motivated and organised Site Administrator / Assistant to join a busy construction site team in Plymouth. No previous construction experience is required — just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong organisational skills.
Duties:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the site team
- Assisting Site Managers and Engineers with general site coordination
- Supporting the Quantity Surveyor with measurements and take-offs
- Learning how to check contractor measurements for accuracy
- Coordinating and carrying out site inductions
- Printing and distributing drawings to site teams
- Maintaining site documentation, records, and filing systems
- Assisting with timesheets, purchase orders, and invoice processing
- Handling incoming calls and general correspondence
- Updating spreadsheets and internal systems
- Supporting health & safety documentation and compliance
About You
- Keen to start a career in construction
- Organised, reliable, and willing to learn
- A strong communicator with good attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Able to work well as part of a team and use their own initiative
- Holding a full UK driving licence (preferred as you may move vehicles on site)
