Location: Cornwall An established construction business is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of a large project in Cornwall.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer to play a key role in the coordination, procurement and delivery of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Working closely with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and managing mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Summary of duties: Coordinating mechanical engineering activities across multiple projects.

Reviewing technical designs, specifications and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Managing the procurement of mechanical equipment, materials and subcontract packages.

Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Monitoring installation activities, quality standards and programme performance.
