Experienced in team management and large scale residential projects I have a new opportunity to join a developer in Cornwall has arisen, working on large residential developments as the commercial manager. Reporting to the MD you will oversee the team day to day, compile reports, oversee procurement, conduct feasibility studies, prepare cost plans, and undertake due diligence required for funding etc. You will be a forward-thinking individual who can input into the company’s commercial management process, compile reports, in order to streamline payments and risk management processes Duties of the commercial manager: Responsible for effectively managing the Divisions commercial function to ensure best practices are followed, costs are controlled, the Department maximises revenue generation and contribution to the company’s operating profit and increases the value added to the company. Overseeing external sub-contracting companies Involved in the project management and administration of all commercial matters for various volume residential projects. Review all extra over costs and variation orders to minimise cost whilst ensuring programme and quality is achieved. Compile reports and oversee CVR’s Monitor and inspect developments regularly to ensure that all quality control procedures are being adhered to and that the highest standards of build are being achieved and reflected in good Audit results.
