We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for a live refurbishment scheme in Chippenham. This is a great opportunity for a driven, organised, and detail‑focused professional who can deliver a quality project while maintaining strong site control and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily site operations on a refurbishment project
- Manage both direct labour and sub‑contract trades effectively
- Coordinate closely with the client, design consultants, and the wider project team
- Organise material deliveries, logistics and ensure smooth site workflow
- Ensure the project meets all programme deadlines, quality standards and H&S compliance
- Maintain site records, issue permits, and ensure robust safety practices
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure works are completed to specification
Requirements (Essential):
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Previous experience managing refurbishment projects
- Experience coordinating direct trades and sub‑contractors
- Proven ability to handle client liaison, consultant coordination and project communications
- Strong organisational approach to materials, logistics, and sequencing of works
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety and quality management
