We are working in partnership with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Principal Civil Engineer to join their Cardiff office. This is a key senior role within the civil engineering team, suited to an experienced engineer with strong technical capability across civil infrastructure, drainage and SuDS design, including SAB approval experience. The successful candidate will bring 7+ years’ experience working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/Flow, alongside a broad portfolio of project delivery across multiple sectors.

Project sectors include:

  • Commercial schemes
  • Industrial projects
  • New-build infrastructure

The consultancy has been a major presence in the Welsh engineering market for over 20 years, delivering high-quality civil and structural engineering solutions across the region. Their workload is varied and technically engaging, ranging from traditional civil engineering schemes to truly unique projects - including drainage design for a driving range constructed within a cave and major earthworks packages for high-profile venues such as the Principality Stadium.

As Principal Civil Engineer, you will take a hands-on role in project delivery while working closely with the Civils Lead. Providing technical leadership across projects.
